Services Provided

Preventative Care

At Northern Colorado Veterinary Center we provide annual wellness exams to address your pet's health preventing any chronic illnesses before they become a problem. Regular exams help your pet live a long and healthy life. Our clinic also provides first time puppy and kitten owners with a wealth of knowledge so your new pet can live a healthy and happy life.

Senior and General Medicine

NCVC offers services to manage chronic and acute internal diseases such as diabetes, liver and kidney diseases, as well as other diseases and illnesses related to internal body systems. We offer non-invasive diagnostics with rapid results that will reveal a comprehensive overview regarding your pet's health status.

Reproduction Medicine

With the addition of Dr. Debra Davison, our clinic now offers reproductive services including: progesterone testing, semen evaluation, transcervical insemination, and cesarian surgeries.  We will be here to help your pet transition smoothly into motherhood so you can enjoy the joys of puppyhood. We also offer diagnostic testing through PennHips and OFA to ensure your pets are passing on healthy qualities and traits to their offspring.

Dental Care

Dental Care is essential to keep your pet healthy. With regular dental exams and digital dental radiographs we can pin point dental disease and stop it from progressing with regular cleanings. If left untreated dental disease can cause serious health issues.

Pharmacy and Prescription Refills

Please give us at least 24 hours in advanced when calling in your pet's prescription refills as it allows time for our doctor to approve your refill and gives our staff time to fill your medications between our scheduled appointments. When emailing prescription requests please expect delays as it is possible to miss emails with refill requests in our inbox. For quickest refills please call our office directly with the the following information: the name of the medication(s) you need refilled, the current dose, and frequency. This gives our staff the necessary information for our doctor to approve your refill.

Alternative Medicine

Our certified veterinary acupuncturist has helped many pets in the area dealing with various conditions, and will help you decide if acupuncture is right for your pet. Studies show that acupuncture alleviates pain, stimulates healing processes, regulates gastrointestinal motility, among many other benefits. We also offer alternative medicine such as eastern herbal medication as well as food trials.

Surgery

NCVC will offer surgical capabilities that range from routine procedures such as spays and neuters to more complex procedures. With our monitoring equipment your pet will be in safe hands during the entire procedure.
